Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens

These Coastal Gardens and natural areas in Boothbay include fern, wetlands, and native plant shore land gardens, a collection of rhododendrons, and a trail lined with mosses, lichens, heaths and ferns.

Open to the public (8:30 am - 4:30 pm M-F, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm weekends & holidays), the garden's 250 acres are a perfect get-away to enjoy the quiet magnificence of the Maine woods. Admission is free.

Please also visit Old London Maps on the web as many of the maps
and views available there have plans and depictions of gardens from
the medieval period through to the late nineteenth century.
