Belle Isle Botanical Society

Located in Detroit, the society maintains the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, with a palm house, tropical house, orchid collection, lily pond, cactus house, and fernery. See website for visiting hours and admission fees.

Fernwood Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve
Located in the scenic Berrien County, this garden is a living museum situated in the orchard country of southwest Michigan with valuable collections and delicate ecosystems. Matthaei Botanical Garden & Nichols Arboretum
This University of Michigan facility includes a conservatory with exotic plants from around the world, nature trails, mature woodlands, wetlands, several ponds, and a tall grass prairie.
