Folsom Children’s Zoo and Botanical Gardens


The Botanical gardens at the Lincoln zoo features a collection of cacti and succulents, numerous woody plants, and a butterfly house. See website for visiting hours and admission charges.

Lauritzen Gardens Omaha’s Botanical Center
The gardens contain over 100 acres of flower and plant displays arranged into theme gardens from around the world. A walk or tram ride through Lauritzen Gardens is definitely a multi-sensory experience for all ages.

Open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Open until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays for "Twilight Tuesdays" from mid-May to mid-September. Visit their website for admission fees.
