The Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens

This Gardens in Niagara Falls, is open to visitors for a self guided tour of the plant world as seen in the herb garden, the vegetable garden, the rock garden or the arboretum, embracing one of Canada’s finest collections of ornamental trees and shrubs. It was originally established in 1936 as the School for Apprentice Gardeners. It remains a unique location for studying gardening and obtaining the knowledge necessary to grow and maintain the landscapes of the Park System. Royal Botanical Gardens

Located on the Burlington/Hamilton border, this sprawling Garden comprises five themed sections and four nature sanctuaries as well as the Nature Interpretive Centre. Visit their website for operation hours and admission charges and much more.

Maplelawn Historic Garden

An historic walled garden located in Ottawa, Canada's capital, has a foursquare plan of the flowerbeds, with an oval bed at the center.
