Riverbanks Zoo and Garden

The lushly planted botanical gardens complementing the zoo in Columbia are arranged into several climatic and theme gardens including a 34,000-square-foot walled garden featuring drought-tolerant plants and river rocks of a dry garden.

Visit their website for operation hours and admission charges.

Please also visit Old London Maps on the web as many of the maps
and views available there have plans and depictions of gardens from
the medieval period through to the late nineteenth century.
